I have not written in weeks...

This week feels very different from the others, Friday we stayed home, Saturday, a 4 year old's birthday party, Sunday, a dinner party with neighbors, Monday, a hang over from said dinner party, Tuesday a doctor's appointment, Wednesday, girls night with friends...

It has become abundantly clear to me that I have seriously downplayed the extraordinariness of this place. This place is incredible. 

Attempt number one at getting our USVI license. Fail.

While Jason was gone Scarlett and I had absolutely none of the typical island freak out stuff happen, no bugs, no black outs, no water issues..

We found a fantastic breakfast place right on the water, our new breakfast place, it was delicious, really good breakfast food. Beside Chicago's pizza, this island is impressing me food wise. There is room for a deep dish pizza pie restaurant, Lou? Where are you buddy? 

Okay, so not many people will catch my Paul Harvey reference, my grandma and I used to listen to Paul Harvey in the car, I loved it, couldn't wait for it, and thought he was amazing.

Finishing off week six we finally ferried our car over to St John and spent my birthday there. It was incredible, there is not a shitty view on St John, it takes your breath every few seconds. Taking the car over there was a dream, we were so free to go from beach to beach... 

First, let me tell you, it has been a fantastic two weeks. We had Charlie and Stef, and so much excitement that I was not able to post! 

Coki Beach is amazing. Some people don't love the interaction the "The Locals", but I do. I have never understood why people don't want to be bothered with a culture that they are going to experience. Coki beach is rich with real.

Jason's head looks like a 11 year old got a hold of a lawn mower (no offense to 11 year olds).
